Li, called by many a "Prince of piano music", presented to the audience the following masterpieces: Chopin: "Nocturne", Schumann: "Fantasy" and Beethoven: "Sonata: Appassionata". He also played a Chinese folk song "Colourful clouds chasing the moon".
Polish First Lady Anna Komorowska attended the recital, saying it was "excellent".
This recital is an event with a special significance for Li during his current tour in Europe. In 2000 Li won the first place in the Chopin International Piano Competition at the age of 18, making him the youngest and the first Chinese pianist to win the prize.
