According to reliable sources, a Beijing media service company, which had provided media services for PSA Peugeot Citroen, recently filed a lawsuit with a court in Beijing against PSA Peugeot Citroen.
Miaojian Information Corporation has accused PSA Peugeot Citroen of delaying payments for its service, a large sum of money, for the past few years. No results had been yielded in their negotiations.
A person in charge of the service company in Beijing confirmed the dispute but declined to provide any details at the moment, saying they would go through legal procedures accordingly.
So far, no comment is available from concerning persons of PSA Peugeot Citroen.
PSA Peugeot Citroen is one of earliest foreign automakers entering the Chinese market, but it met its Waterloo’s in Guangzhou due to improper strategies and problems with the cooperation with the Chinese side. The group withdrew from the Chinese market in 1996. PSA Peugeot Citroen returned to China in recent years but is facing increasing competition in the Chinese market.
