Google Inc expected its China market revenue will continue to grow as many companies transfer spending from traditional media to Internet during the economic slowdown, the world's most popular cyber search engine firm said yesterday in Shanghai.
"The firms will choose the online advertising if we provide them quality services as it's a high efficient and low-cost method to do business," said Davis Wang, Google's regional general manager in east China.
Google China provides users better advertising effect tracking and pay-for-each-click services, which allows enterprises to control costs.
China's digital advertising spending will hit US$5.2 billion next year, a jump of 40 percent year on year, and equal to the United Kingdom level, according to a report of KPMG last month.
Google China will sweep away irregular Internet advertising agents nationwide, Wang said.
