New use for biotech pharma plant

Wuxi PharmaTech Cayman Inc will stop making biotechnology products in Philadelphia, resulting in the loss of 100 jobs.

The plant will be used for testing biological medicines, cell banking and cell therapy services, the Shanghai-based firm said yesterday.
