China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co, the nation's third-largest insurer, yesterday said its premium income totaled 88.4 billion yuan (US$12.9 billion) in the first 11 months of this year.

The insurer's life-insurance subsidiary earned 62.6 billion yuan in premiums from January 1 to November 30, the Shanghai-based company said in a statement, without giving comparisons. Its property insurance arm had premiums of 25.8 billion yuan in the same period, China Pacific said.
