HK stocks close 4.58% higher

Hong Kong stocks rose 575.83 points, or 4.58 percent, to close at 13,154.43 on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index went up 981.47 points, or 7.8 percent, to open at 13,560.07 on Thursday.

Turnover also moved up to 39.16 billion HK dollars (5.05 billion U.S. dollars) from last Friday's 33.72 billion HK dollars (4.35 billion U.S. dollars).
