Dollar at lower 99 yen in Tokyo

The dollar bought 99.25-30 yen at 9 a.m., compared with 99.32- 42 yen in New York and 98.75-77 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro was quoted at 1.3216-3221 dollars and 131.22-27 yen, against US$1.3222-3232 and 131.40-50 yen in New York and US$1. 3227-3229 and 130.62-66 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday.
