Adjust font size:

On February 19 the German high-end carmaker, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, announced that it has made a global recall of about 19 thousand Cayenne SUVs whose fuel pipes collide with their engines while running. Porsche's Beijing Center and related distributors in China said that the recall would not have much influence on their sales and services in regard to Cayenne SUVs.

Porsche China said that the recall probably involved nearly 1,000 Chinese Cayenne SUV customers, but Porsche's Beijing Center stated that they have not received any recall notices to date. A Porsche distributor pointed out that the Cayenne SUVs marketed in China have technical designs vastly different from those in the American and European markets. Therefore, whether any of them has the problem that Porsche AG mentioned must be determined by maintenance services, the distributor added.
