Many experts and civilians throughout the world believe that China will be a major force in the near future. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) recently arrived at that same conclusion with concrete numbers to back their contention up.
China will become the largest economic entity on the planet by 2025, the accounting company said in recent report. They stated that the world economic structure will go through a huge transformation and the economic strength of developing countries will be enhanced between now and 2050.
They also said that by the year 2050, China, America and India will be the top three economic entities in the world, according to calculations based on GDP growth expectations.
By then, China's economic scale will be 1.3 times that of the America's, and India's GDP will be 90 percent the GDP of the U.S., the report stated.
PWC said that this project was based on the macro-analysis of 30 countries whose total GDP accounted for 85 percent of the world's GDP in 2006.
