The Ministry of Public Security stated that cars will be sold nationwide with license plates attached in future, which will enable car buyers to complete all required procedures at one service window, Chinanews.cn reported yesterday.
Beichen Automobile Exchange Center in the Beijing Asian Games Village is set to be a pilot for the scheme. After paying at the appropriate counter, car buyers can complete all the required procedures, including choosing their plate number at other windows.
At present, the car buyer has to apply to six departments to get a license plate, which can take up to two or three days. Once the new measures are in place, the six departments will combine to serve in one place, which will certainly save considerable time and energy for customers and help to stimulate car sales.
