"Thai snacks are always popular at the expo," he said. According to Nantawat, his company has sold products worth of 80,000 yuan, double last year's total sales volume.

However, even for Thai snacks, not all sellers have great sales.

"Our sales are just so-so," said Sujin Mukda from J Products Company. But Sujin remains optimistic.

"It's only our first time to the CAEXPO, so I think we'll do better next year," he said, adding that he still expects a rise tomorrow, because then the expo will be open to the public.
