Chinese shares open lower tracking Wall Street losses

Chinese shares opened lower on Friday following Wall Street losses overnight.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was down 1.81 percent to 2180.79 points and the smaller Shenzhen index dropped 1.80 percent to open at 8094.08 points.
