Flight ZH9706, from Xiangfan city in Hubei Province to Shenzhen, landed safely at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport at 11:22 p.m. , the carrier said in a special announcement via its official microblog account at Sina Weibo (e.weibo.com/shenzhenair).
The announcement did not elaborate what the message was, which was received at 10:29 p.m. when the aircraft was in the air.
Police have intervened to investigate, the company said.
This is the second similar incident in China's civil aviation industry in a week.
