Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), called here Tuesday for better training of CPPCC cadres of various levels so as to meet the new task of building an all-round well-off society in China.
According to Jia, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, the new task has created a good opportunity to train the cadres.
He stressed that the job should help the long-term development of the CPPCC and be in line with the nation's comprehensive and strategic development.
He also required the contents of the training be decided on a scientific basis and the important thought of "Three Represents" placed first.
"The plans of all committees should be feasible ones and the CPC committees at different levels should insert them into their general training schedules," he said.
