Armenian President Robert Sedrakovich Kocharyan arrived in Beijing Sunday evening, starting his five-day state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Presidenet Hu Jintao.

It's the first state visit to China by Kocharyan as president.

Kocharyan will hold talks and meet with Chinese top leaders during his stay in China's capital. Besides Beijing, he will also visit China's financial hub Shanghai.
