English Premier League side Arsenal cruised to a 7-1 victory over Vietnam's national team on Wednesday in Hanoi in their second friendly match of the pre-season tour in Asia.
French forward Olivier Giroud opened the scoring five minutes into the match and managed to secure his "hat-trick" before the half-time whistle.
English international Oxlade-Chamberlain extended the Gunners' lead to 4-0 right after the match resumed. Akpom's brace within four minutes and Spanish midfielder Arteta's goal drove Arsenal further ahead.
The hosts scored a consolation goal in the very last minute, driving rapturous applause from the packed stadium in heavy rains.
The match was part of Arsenal's Asia Tour 2013. Before playing in Vietnam, Arsenal crushed Indonesia 7-0 on July 14. Their next leg will be in Japan against Nagoya Grampus on July 22, and Urawa Reds on July 26.
