Nowadays, close to streams and mountains, Heijing has been developed into a tourist town. The ancient streets of the Tang (618-907) and Song (960–1279) dynasties and the traditional folk houses of Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties as well as ancient pagodas and temples attract numerous tourists both from home and abroad.
