Tianjin Foreign Studies University

Tianjin Foreign Studies University (TFSU) was founded in 1964. As one of the country's first batch of such universities in China, it offers a number of language and cultural programs to Chinese and overseas students of various educational backgrounds. The university offers 30 majors, including English, Japanese, Korean, journalism, world economy and trade and law. Among the teaching staff, nearly 50 percent have studied overseas, and more than 100 foreign teachers are employed every year.

天津外国语大学建于1964年，是全国最早的八所高等外语院校之一，为中外学生提供一系列的语言文化课程. 学校现开设包括英语、日语、韩语、德语、法语、西班牙语、俄语、阿拉伯语、法律、金融、教育技术学等30门课程。同时也为不同背景的学生提供证书教育和无证书教育。现有全日制在校生近万人，研究生近千人。学校专任教师中有将近50%的教师拥有海外留学经历，具有博士学位的专任教师占22.5％，硕士生导师占19%，常年聘请外国专家、教师百余名。
