This meat-eating small-sized dinosaur, going by the name of Microraptor, existed during the Early Cretaceous Period. It was discovered in Taipingfang Town, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province between 2001 and 2002. The four-winged dinosaur's entire body was covered with prehistoric-style feathers to keep it warm, helping it travel from one tree to another in a single glide. It's the most intact and smallest species of dinosaur bearing four wings, providing the best evidence that modern-day birds actually stem from the ancient dinosaurs.
