Sport: Boxing

China's three-time AIBA World Champion Ren Cancan (51 kg), together with her teammates Dong Cheng (60 kg) and Li Jinzi (75 kg), will compete in the London Olympic boxing events. Ren is considered the most competitive one among the three Chinese women boxers to win a gold. Ren will face challenges from Britain's top flyweight Nicola Adams and India's five-time world champion "Magnificent Mary" Kom.

Should Ren bring home gold, she will make a record in the Olympic Games' history, as Olympic boxing, held in 13 weight categories, for the first time includes three women's weight classes ― 51kg, 60kg and 75kg.
