China has always striven to seize all eight gold medals in diving at the Olympic Games, but has found the men's 10-meter platform a consistent weak point. Now with the strengths of the Chinese male divers Qiu Bo and Lin Yue, it's possible that China will turn its dream into reality. The hope lies most likely in the hand of Qiu, who has been named by the British media as the main obstacle between its super diver Tom Daley and the glory.

Dubbed "Mr. Full Mark" for his precision, Qiu is an excellent diver paying great attention to details. In the 2011 FINA Diving World Championships held in Shanghai, Qiu won two gold medals in the 10-meter event. Later in 2012, he excelled in the men's 10-meter platform at the 18th FINA Diving World Cup. Qiu will be the second contestant to achieve a career grand slam after Tian Liang if he grabs the gold this month.
