Increasing awareness of sex and gender issues

Many cities have introduced study of women's education and women's morals, advocating a shift from old-fashioned concepts of virginity and morality that were abandoned during the women's liberation movement. Covered up by carrying forward the traditional culture, the inclusive nature of Chinese tradition regarding sex and gender has been ignored, sensual passion has been suppressed and homophobic feelings have arisen, which has raised huge debate in society.
