In February, many websites released long articles to assault sexologist Fang Gang. Another sexologist, Peng Xiaohui, was slapped and got hit with feces thrown by a middle-aged woman when he gave a speech at the Guangzhou Sex Culture Expo on Nov. 7. In December, the well-known sexologist Li Yinhe was attacked by opponents about her personal life. She opened up about her relationship with her companion. People have not reached conclusions, but there has been violence and cursing against sexologists.
