Meili Snow Mountain
Lying in the east suburb of Diqing county, Meili Snow Mountain is praised as one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. It has 13 peaks boasting an average peak height of 6,000 meters above sea level. The highest peak, Kagebo, reaches 6,740 meters above sea level, is also the highest peak in Yunnan Province. The top of the Kagebo Peak, protected by perpendicular cliffs and foul climate, is yet to be visited by a human soul.

Best season to travel: spring and winter
