The Impression of Hainan 印象海南

The performance The Impression of Hainan is the latest live theatre performance directed by Zhang Yimou, the director of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies. It is the first and the only ocean staged live performance in China, which demonstrates the custom, traditions, history of Hainan life. There are 250 performers who are local boys and girls at the average age of 19.

Tips: the performance is staged on the West Coast of Haikou city. It starts at 8:30 pm every day and lasts 70 minutes.
