It is reported that nearly 10 domestic steel enterprises have participated in the bidding for pipeline steel supply for Sinopec No 1 energy network Zhongwei to Guiyang natural gas pipeline project and Lanzhou to Chengdu crude oil pipeline project recently.
As per report, Wuhan Iron & Steel Co Ltd successfully won the bid for supplying over 70,000 tonnes HR pipeline steel coil for the projects.
The Zhongwei-Guiyang gas pipeline starts from Zhongwei Ningxia by way of Gansu, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, arrival at Guiyang, connecting with No 1 and No 2 line of West-East natural gas transmission project in Zhongwei and docking Sino-Myanmar Oil Pipeline in Guiyang, which achieved national energy artery connection through linking up the three largest domestic gas areas so as to ensure safety of China’s gas supply.
The Lanzhou Chengdu oil pipeline project starts from Lanzhou Gansu ending in Pengzhou Sichuan, by way of Gansu, Shaanxi and Sichuan with a length of 878 kilometers and the pipeline will transmit crude oil from Xinjiang to Sichuan by connecting with Northern pipeline after being completed.
