Yinyang New Energy Company in Zhongwei announced a project involving 2000-ton monocrystal silicon rod and 2000-ton polycrystalline silicon ingot was put into operation on August 29.

Located at the southern tip of Tengger Desert, the project becomes the first desert photovoltaic project under operation in Ningxia.
