Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region recently kicked off energy consumption auditing of the region's first batch governmental office buildings and other large public buildings.

In 2009, the region landed 5.82 million yuan (US$923,923) funds from the central government and launched developing of a monitoring system over governmental office buildings and other public buildings as required to be energy-efficient.
