The 4th annual China (Ningxia) International Culture and Art Tourism Expo is slated to kick off in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on June 1, in a bid to promote cultural and art exchanges, said Tao Yufang, deputy director-general of the autonomous region's culture department.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the Administration of Tourism, Ningxia's provincial government as well as other related authorities, the five-month event features a western Chinese songs concert, a chorus contest, a driving tour festival and a film & television festival.
