Yinchuan-Beijing Tourist Train makes debut | |||

A Yinchuan-Beijing Tourist branded train named "Magic Ningxia, Oasis in the loess highlands" made its debut at the Yinchuan Railway Station on December 18.
The K1177/8 special train passing by Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Hebei Province and Beijing is expected to carry some 400,000 visitors to Ningxia next year, according to a spokesman for the Ningxia Tourism Bureau. Brochures and ornaments in the train's carriages fully display distinctive Ningxia tourism features and the train's Halal Food salon is the first of its kind in China. The train is licensed to carry 1,200 people and is scheduled to run on a daily basis, according to the chief conductor.
