The 28th Ningxia Adolescent Technological Innovation Competition and the 13th China Adolescent Robotics Competition (Ningxia Region) opened on April 13 in Yinchuan city.

The 28th Ningxia Adolescent Technological Innovation Competition is composed of three segments, namely the Adolescent Innovation Project, the Technology Instructor’s Innovation Project and the Adolescents’ Practice Activities, as well as two exhibition parts, namely the Children’s Science Imagination Pictures and Science Photography. The competition involves 13 academic disciplines, such as engineering, physics, behavioral and social sciences, chemistry and microbiology. 190 Adolescent Innovation Projects, 87 Technology Instructor’s Innovation Projects, 89 Adolescents’ Practice Activities, 1021 Children’s Science Imagination Pictures and 51 Science DV Works entered the competition and exhibition.

The 13th China Adolescent Robotics Competition (Ningxia Region) covers six different themes: The Robotic Innovation Competition under the theme of “Community Volunteers,” the Robotic Comprehensive Skill Competition under the theme of “Flying Dream Coming True,” the VEX Robotic Engineering Challenge under the theme of “Sack Attack,” the FLL Robotic Challenge under the theme of “Caring for the Old,” the Robotic Popularization Competition under the theme of “Robots Touring Ningxia” and the two-on-two Robotic Football Game. Each theme has three levels: primary school level, junior high school level and high school level. 204 teams comprised of 620 teachers and students from the entire region take part in the competition. Every single-theme champion team will represent Ningxia at the China Adolescent Robotics Competition championship.
