A tourism promotion conference featuring “Magic Ningxia, Oasis in the loess highlands” opened June 14 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.

The conference, a celebration of Ningxia’s history and culture, included speeches, scenic films, Hua’er performances.

China International Travel Service - Ningxia reported that travel agents and Hong Kong citizens who attended the conference seemed interested in promoting travel to Ningxia.

Ningxia Tourism Bureau has issued preferential policies to encourage travel agencies in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan to promote travel to Ningxia this year.
