A conference featuring wines produced at the Eastern Foot of Helan Mountain, Ningxia Autonomous Region, was held June 14 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.

Twelve wine brands were represented at the conference, where wine salesmen and agents were invited to sample and comment on the quality of Ningxian wine.

Debra Meiburg, the first recipient of the Master of Wine title in Asia, said that wine produced at the Eastern Foot of Helan Mountain possesses great potential and that it is likely to gain further international recognition.
