Muslims in Ningxia celebrated Eid al-Fitr, or the fast-breaking festival, in Yinchuan City on August 8. The festival marks the end of Ramadan, a season of fasting and spiritual reflection. On the day of fast-breaking, Muslims go to mosques to attend a ceremony and celebrate, dressed in traditional clothing.
