It was learned from the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region’s Department of Commerce that Ningxia successfully won the bid to aid the construction of the animal husbandry technology demonstration service center project in the Republic of Mauritania with the help of the Ministry of Commerce.
As part of the 2013 China-Arab States Expo, the Sino-African and Sino-German cooperation meetings will be participated in by Mauritania, Senegal, Nigeria, Germany and other countries, and the signing ceremony of the aid project will be held then.
It was understood that the project was the first free foreign aid project by Ningxia and was approved in July of this year, with a total investment of 42 million yuan from the Ministry of Commerce. The Project will be jointly undertaken by three companies. The foundation laying ceremony will be held on November 28 this year, in Mauritania also marking the country’s Independence Day.
This year, the investigation units of the three companies undertaking the mission came to Mauritania for a field study. During their tour, the two sides drafted the "Protocol of Cooperation," which was recently signed. Meanwhile, the inspection group has revised and improved the preliminary design and construction plans in agreement with the agricultural industry department.
Ningxia will take this opportunity to bring its agricultural technology and experience to Africa and even the world.
