The first Ningxia Arabic Teacher Training Course was held at the Ningxia Muslim International Language in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on March 21. A language expert from Saudi Arabia is invited to pass on his knowledge to 26 teachers from Ningxia and four from Gansu and Yunnan provinces.

It is reported that more than 10 colleges and civilian-run language training schools have established Arabic courses; the student number totals around some 3000 across the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
