The cities of Yinchuan and Zhongwei strengthened their cooperation in urban construction and industrial development to promote the construction of the New Silk Road Economic Belt, according to an on-the-spot investigation conducted by Zhongwei Delegation in Yinchuan on March 27. Both party and municipal leaders attended the investigation.
They paid a visit on the Yinchuan Comprehensive Bonded Area which started operation after 100 more days of preparation last year. A total of 21 enterprises have been registered in the area, realizing an import and export volume of US$22.74 million. Many delegation members expressed their amazement at the “Yinchuan Construction Speed.”
The Yinchuan iBi Incubator at the Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone incorporating IT, cultural creation, bio-technology, intellectual property and services, is a high-tech industrial technology service center with enterprise clustering and incubation functions. “Until now, the first-phase project has completed an investment of one billion yuan and attracted 125 enterprises covering e-business, the Internet of things and bio-technology,” announced its spokesman.
Leaders from both sides expressed that the two cities will seek common development in tourism, agriculture, logistics, poverty alleviation and other sectors during the conference.
