The first session of the China-Arab States Commodity Exhibition kicked off in Wuzhong City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on June 21. Over 400 exhibitors from Malaysia, Turkey, Middle East area, China’s Zhejiang Province, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and other places took part in the exhibition.
A total of 300 kinds of commodities from 120 factories in China and Arab States covering Halal food, Muslim utensils, art works, textile and jewelry were showcased at the exhibition, said Wang Zhiyong, the general manager of China-Arab States Commercial Complex—the sponsor of the exhibition.
The vice-mayor of Wuzhong, Li Xuewen, expressed that the exhibition creates more cooperation opportunities between enterprises in China and the Arab States and greatly promotes economic and trade exchanges between the two parts.
