On Sept. 19, filming for "Heritage Inheritance," Ningxia Autonomous Region first documentary on intangible cultural heritage, begins.

This documentary is produced by the Yinchuan Bureau of Culture, Radio and Television and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Center.

Cai Hua, who was the director of China's first series of documentaries on intangible cultural heritage, is serving as the director for this film. "Heritage Inheritance," which showcases over 20 items of Yinchuan's intangible cultural heritage, will make Yinchuan more famous not only in Ningxia but also in the whole country.

The documentary is split into 4 episodes: "Culture on the Yellow River," "The Hui Nationality," "History of the Western Xia Regime" and "The Development of Helan Mountain." "Heritage Inheritance" will be finished and released in March, 2015.
