During the past three years, there are 261,000 people have moved to Yueyahu Township, which comprise 75% of the all immigrants during the period of the5-year plan. The Party branch secretary in Binhe Village, Yueyahu Township, said that within the three years, 96 families built new houses based on the hosed distributed and about 20 families bought new cars. It is estimated that every family can build new house in 2 yeas accordingly.

This year, Ningxia plans to settle 70,000ecological immigrants. So it mobilizes the whole social force to focus on poverty issues, care impoverished people and show concern about poverty alleviation. Poverty Alleviation Office of autonomous region held seminars and lectures about poverty alleviation, laying solid social foundation for the whole project. By October this year, 12,300 families have moved and 10100 houses have been built.

The Poverty Alleviation Office has made a detailed plan for 16,000 people’s resettlements. The autonomous region government will also ensure effective implementation of policies of allowance, pension, medical insurance and social assistance, etc. Besides, it will subsidize home heating timely and guarantee material security work for the immigrants.
