Recently, 51 youth leaders from Russia, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan were invited by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League and the All-China Youth Federation to attend to the ‘Silk Road Dream-Asian and European Youth Leaders’ Friendly Exchange Activity’.

The theme of the activity was ‘The participation of the youth in constructing the Silk Road Economic Belt’. The Asian and European youth leaders had made field trips in Yinchuan Yuehaiwan CBD and Helan Xinping Modern Agricultural Park. The leaders were impressed with the city’s construction, the industrial development, the construction of modern agriculture and the opening up of the city. They hoped that the construction of the ‘Silk Road Economic Belt’ could be a chance to reinforce the communication and cooperation between the youth so as to resuscitate the prosperity of the ancient Silk Road.
