The launch ceremony of the joint construction for the colleges of Marxism (teaching and research department) was held by Ningxia Party Committee in Yinchuan recently. Supported by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee and the Ministry of Education, Beijing University, Wuhan University, Shandong University and Dongbei Normal University had signed supporting and collaborative agreements with Beifang University of Nationalities, Ningxia University, Ningxia Normal College and Ningxia Medical University. Forty experts and relevant principals had been employed as the first professors for ideological and political theory courses.

Cai Guoying, the member of the Standing Committee of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, as well as the president of the Propaganda Department, claimed that the education departments would work together with the Organization Department, Propaganda Department, Finance Department, and Human Resources and Social Security Department to construct the distinguished professors’ database and develop the work of colleges of Marxism. The goal of the database is to pool all the efforts to explore the construction of ideological and political courses. The region pays high attention to the courses and provides powerful guarantee as well.
