The China Automation Industrial Park started construction in the city of Wuzhong, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on March 18. An opening ceremony was held at the base.

The city of Wuzhong plans to invest 98 billion yuan on a total of 740 projects this year. Some 57 key projects have started construction this March, covering industries of equipment manufacturing, energy, electrical power, modern agriculture and high-tech.

The park, occupying an area of 100 hectares, will be invested with 3 billion yuan and is expected to realize an annual output value of 10 billion yuan after completion.
