Though Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Taiwan are far apart geographically, the Ningxia Night Fair located in Taipei City shows close connection between the two places.

The Ningxia Night Fair, with a history of over 60 years, incorporates over 140 snack bars with distinctive Taiwan flavor along the 400-meter-long road. It is reported that there can be some 5 million customers coming to the fair during a whole year.

The Ningxia delegation has held tourism promotional activities at the fair in 2014. At the beginning of this year, the Taiwan delegation also paid visits to the main scenic spots in Yinchuan, Shizuishan, Wuzhong, Guyuan and Zhongwei cities. The Ningxia Tourism Bureau has signed agreement with Ningxia Night Fair Business Circle Development Association later to inject Ningxia tourism resources into the fair so as to promote beautiful Ningxia sceneries in Taiwan.
