4 tourism characteristics of Guyuan that release its gushing vitality

Located in southern Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Guyuan, relying on its abundant tourism resources and profound culture, has created four tourism brands -- "green island on the Loess Plateau", "red tour", "major city along the Silk Road" and "Hui culture."

In 2014, Guyuan was given the title of "the tourist city with ethnic and folk customs". Nearly 2.53 million tourists went there in 2014, producing revenue of over one billion yuan.

This year, Guyuan will launch the construction of city's circular tour area, integrate its quality tourism resources and build the great tourism circle of Liupan Mountain. It aims to attract 2.75 million tourists and earn revenue of 1.21 billion yuan.
