Of the total fifty-five projects to be carried out, thirty-three have started with a total investment of 1.02 billion yuan in Binhe New District of Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. These projects covered ecological greening, cultural tourism, infrastructure construction, and industry development, to build up an eco-friendly, cultural, tourism and industrial city in the new district.

As for ecological greening projects, Binhe New District has accelerated the construction of the Ecopark, which will open in June 6th, as well as finished planting millions of arbors and three million bushes, completing over 80% of the annual greening task.

The construction of Binhe Yellow River Bridge and Binggou Yellow River Bridge under the spotlight were accelerated. The International Science City, the reception center of International Medical City and International Center of Plastics and Aesthetics were to be completed soon.

The construction of the Yellow River Beach scenic spot was scheduled to be completed at the end of May and the spot would open and welcome tens of thousands visitors. Besides, of the twenty-four industrial projects in Binhe Industrial Park, six have started production and eighteen have finished basic factory construction.
