Liu Hui, the Chairman of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, presided over the chairman’s office meeting and stressed taking advantage of the gold brand of the China-Arab States Expo to improve the opening of Ningxia, on June 29.

Work deployment on joining in "One Belt and One Road" Initiative, developing exhibition economy, hosting the China-Arab States Expo and speeding up the opening process of Ningxia were made on the meeting.

Liu Hui stressed that it was necessary to accelerate the overall development of the Silk Road Economic Belt strategically, including the overland, online and aerial silk road. And corresponding efforts should be made in implementing opening policies while implementing all works intended to expand opening.

According to Liu Hui, the China-Arab States Expo should be made a platform for Ningxia to expand opening-up and promote the cooperation between China and Arab States in the field of finance, economy and trade.

She also called for accelerating the step of “introduction” and “going abroad”, promoting the regional enterprises going out to undertake projects, services and invest by offering them policy guidance.

Liu Hui stressed that as the Second China-Arab States Expo was approaching, all preparatory work should be further improved with efficiency and concerted efforts. The work of publicizing, inviting guests, arranging the exhibition and attracting investment should be emphasized to create a high-graded exhibition with distinct features.
