The organizing committee of China-Arab State Expo 2015 held a meeting in Beijing on August 17 to hear opinions from committee components.

The meeting was also about reviewing ‘the general planning of China-Arab State Expo 2015’ , sharing information of the preparatory works, and discussing arrangements in the next phase. Several members made speeches, gave opinions on specific works, and deliberated related reports. Gao Hucheng the Commerce Minister and Qian Keming the Deputy Minister from the Ministry of Commerce, Liu Hui the governor of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (Ningxia), and other members from several Chinese ministries and China-Arab Friendship Association all made themed speeches. ‘The general planning of China-Arab State Expo 2015’ and progress report were brought by Wang Heshan, the vice governor of Ningxia.

At present, all the preparatory works are on progress. Arrangements for guest invitation, project cooperation, and business and exhibitor invitation were guided by sets of selection and work mechanisms to enhance the ability of sustainable development of the expo.
