State Councilor Guo Shengkun will attend the opening ceremony of the China-Arab States Expo 2015 in Yinchuan, capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China, on Thursday.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei made the announcement on Wednesday.

The Expo will be held in Yinchuan from Sept. 10 to 13, under the theme of "Promoting the Spirit of Silk Road, Enhancing China-Arab States Cooperation."
