Ningxia University signed cooperative agreements with Ningxia Science and Technology Agency, Qingdao Changsheng Company Ningxia Branch and another 4 enterprises separately on October 30.

Ningxia Photovoltaic Agriculture Research Institute, Ningxia Zhongqing and Ningxia University Fruit and Vegetables Institute, the Demonstration Base of Modern Fruit and Vegetables Industry in New Rural Development Institute, and Puquan Water-saving Equipment Center in Ningxia University were inaugurated on this day.

This university-enterprise cooperation will promote the integration of enterprises, universities and research institutes and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

The Photovoltaic Agriculture Research Institute will focus on the needs of Ningxia industry, research a batch of key technologies and industry standards.

The Fruit and Vegetables Institute will integrate the technical forces from home and abroad to break the technical bottleneck, and cultivate a group of talents.

The Water-saving Equipment Center will endeavor to develop a series of independent innovation outcomes.

The New Rural Development Institute in Ningxia University will build 4 comprehensive demonstration bases, 14 featured industry bases and 20 distributed sites deep into the rural areas to increase farmers’ income as well as grain yield and boost the prosperity of the rural areas.
